Regular price $98.00From the field to fabric - an ancient art that has been taught across three generations. Renowned for producing the softest, high quality, organic cotton fabrics. The family have a plot of land in Indonesia where they grow their organic cotton and producing exquisite thread in their workshop shed.
They have ancient looms that are generations old and require skill and a delicacy to use. THe weavers choose to sit on the floor in a yoga lotus position for 6 hours at a time. Watching them weaving is like witnessing a symphony of sound, color and texture.
Once the cotton has been spun it is hand-dyed using plant based dyes - such as licorice root, tumeric bark, mango pulp and various other flora and fauna indigenous to their land.
The process of weaving the colored thread requires expert dexterity in order to create a consistancy of design .
Each scarf produced is unique in tone and texture and illustrates the artisans labour of love.
Brought to you to enjoy wearing around your neck , over your shoulders, as a beach sarong, a head-scarf or baby-sling.
These beautifully unique organic cotton fabrics are also ideal for home decor as a table runner or drape over a sofa.

Please find below a generic size chart for clothing which is applicable to most of our more fitted garments.
As many of our garments have been designed with a real woman’s body in mind - some of the garments are more accommodating around the hip area and do not fit into the generic size category.
Our shoes are measured according to European sizing and should be ordered as such eg. a European size 37 equates to 23.5cm.
Once you receive your shoe order please do not be alarmed as the numbers / sizing printed on the shoe will not be applicable to the actual sizing. The printed sizing on shoe is generally 2 sizes larger than the actual shoe.
